Are you asking me out on a date?

    ---------------------------------

NIKE, Keon is a unique case. He was underused in Denver by now fired coach Dan Issel for years and is now getting to show his stuff. He would've been a top 5 pick but he had problems at UNLV and it hurt him a bit.

I can tell you obviously haven't seen Keon or Raef play much.

Okay, I'll re=phrase...If, as you maintain, you have seen streaks like this from Keon before, why is he being talked about for Most IMPROVED Player? It stands to reason that these streaks, as you call them, have never been this good or this consistant before..He has played very well throughout the year, starting with a monster summer camp....And when you mention 3-9 or 4-11 type games, who, including several All-Stars, doesn't have nights like this, particularly when their playing time is somewhat erratic? If good players are judged by never having poor shooting nights, why is Nick Van Excel still in the league...Actually, that's an interesting point...why IS Van Excel still playing? ( joke...sort of...)

NugzFan, answer my ****ing question. If you were Nugs GM, would you do that trade now?

You conveniently seem to dodge questions that would prove you wrong.

    Don't be a b****.

dont start with me a$$hole. i dont know who you are or why you are being a jacka$$ all of a sudden.

first of all ive answered that question a million times before. 2nd i just didnt see your question (i only see it addressed to rocket fans) so chill out.

and 3rd, yes i would. why? cuz we suck now and we would suck with clark. when rebuilding, you do it RIGHT. not half-a$$ed. what could clark give us? ill be generous and say 8-10 wins. still NO PLAYOFFS, and a crappier pick and soon to be - less cap room. for what? a role player? no thanks. instead ill take the first rounder we got and go from there.

its also the same reason i would trade nve for role players and a pick. of course we lose talent wise but thats far from the point.

    b****.

Do you guys seriously believe that Clark would play ahead of EG considering what RT has said about him? Keon is not strong enough to play the post on this team. Can you imagine an EG, Francis, Cat, Clark, and KT line-up? The Ethiopian National Team is thicker than that. If the Rockets are sold on Griffin and MoT, then at this time we only upgrade the small forward or center spot. Cato is coming along nicely and fits this team better than Keon. Unless Clark has developed an outside shot within the last two weeks, he is not the player that will get us to the next level. HENCE, WE HAVE ENOUGH PLAYERS. WE NEED PLAYERS THAT WILL GET US TO THE PLAYOFFS. KEON WOULD NOT BE THE PIECE TO THAT PUZZLE.

I would play Keon at the 4 and move EG to the 3.

I'd also take Keon over Mo Taylor anyday.

My lord, if you're gonna rebuild you trade your overpaid players with no upside like Van Exel, McCloud, Wahad or Lenard, not players with huge upside!!!

You'd be an even worse GM than Danny boy, NugzFan!!!

Everyone knows you get rid of guys making 1mil/yr w/ upside when you want to rebuild.

It's like the Rockets trading Steve or EG and claiming they're doing it because they want to rebuild.

Keon and Cato together would not work offensively. That would be a very good defensive team but I do not know if we could score enough. MoT would be better in my opinion.

Keon could probably give us 15 a game as a starting PF.

His J has been great this year and his speed and scoring around the basket is exceptional. He also can pull off crazy circus shots inside like Webber does every now and then.

    Double KC frontcourt...

"us?" How much have you watched EG? Apparently not enough to know he's never played small forward this year.

Uh, BTM, I have watched both Keon and Raef. Raef is better.

Give "us" 15 a game? KT is a MUCH superior offensive player, and a better defender, though not shot blocker. Keon scores close to the basket tips and off penetration, with occasional flashing of a mediocre shot. So does Kelvin Cato.

JAG-A poor shooting game by NVE is different than Keon. Keon's game is predicated on high percentage shots. NVE is more based on jumpers, therefore should be more prone to poor shooting games. Holding Steve Francis to 2-11 is much less impressive than holding Shaq to 2-11.

Keon's a decent roleplayer. He's no future superstar, though.

That's just it...how much have you seen him play THIS year? His big improvement has been his ability to consistently his the 15-18 foot J...Teams can't just sag on him now for the drive, and that has opened up his way to the hoop...Plus, if you've watched him this year, a great deal of even his inside moves are hardly "high percentage" in thoery...He'll do these spin one way to get aorind one guy, twist his upper body back the other way and just...well...extend is the only word Ican think of, to the hoop...It's like he's ElasticMan or something...You hvae to see him to understand...He wasn't nearly this good even last year..

Man, don't reply if you haven't seem him play, ok? It's just stupid. At least go ask Raptor fans before making an ass of yourself.

Keon scores on 18 and in jumpers, dribble-drive jumpers, blowing by a defender for layins/dunks.

I hate when people try to sound like authorities when all they do is watch a ****ing statsheet.

Saying KT is a much superior offensive player is just pure ignorance. The only thing Kenny has that Keon doesn't is a mediocre 3pt shot. Keon does everything better.
