3P% .000 3P% .389 That's a large statistical difference, and in an offensive system where Rudy likes his SF's shooting 3's which guy fits better? Rashard would be the better 3 for the Rockets but he's not worth the Max.
Translates as far as point to 1 3 ptr per game The Blocks says more to me. . . . What up with you . . when i guy 4-5 inches shorter than you averages more blocks Rocket River
I don't think KT can put those numbers up consistently at the 3, especially the blocks. Rashard's FG% is deceptively low since he shoots so many threes. Besides, its not what the sf can do for the sf, its what the sf can do for SF. Wink will do better with someone that can stretch the defense instead of another creator.
KEnny only ttok like 16 threes this season, and last seaons he was like at .300 shooter from the arc. But us the difference beteween the players enough, for you to pay rashard about $10 mill more?
If anyone in here thinks Kenny Thomas is comparable to Rashard Lewis they need to have their heads examined. Ask any GM in the world who they would rather have and none would say KT. Rashard's handles aren't great, but they're better than Kenny's which is an advantage. Rashard is also a lot better gaurding SF's (Kenny is good with PF's, but totally sucks with quicker SF's). And the most important factor is Kenny has absolutely no ability to spot and shoot. What good does a Franchise drive and kick out do when Kenny can only make 1/10? I've seen that guy throw up so many bricks when wide open. Kenny has to create his own shots playing against slower PF's. He is a one-on-one player and has no other abilities. He would be good for off the bench instant offense and some decent defense, but certainly shouldn't start at small forward. Rashard Lewis would fit in with our team infinitely better than Thomas. Infinitely.
1. Ask those same GMs which would they rather have. . at their respective prices [or asking prices since they both about up for resigning] 2. Kenny's Handles are not dog food. He is able to put it on the floor and take it to the rack . . I have not seen Rashard do it too often. 3. Rashard is not a defensive stopper at either positon Rocket River
Kenny is at his extension year so it will only be one year where Rashard is way over his salary and Rashard would be locked up long term. Whether its cap possible...I don't know
