1. I think people's impression of how much he would pass the ball in his last season is exxagerated with time. It was true that he was discontent that he had to play behind two players who were inferior to him -- one because he made more money and another because he was drafted high -- and it showed on the court at times. But, he was not nearly as unprofessional as people here make out. In fact, he mostly showed that he deserved the minutes. 2. Whatever the case was when he was a Rocket, you may want to update your impression of him now that he's been gone several seasons. He's not exactly the second-coming of Magic Johnson, but he's not a blackhole. He's about average for power-forwards.
Kenny looks like an owl. The dog thought he's got dinner and bit the owl. Liked him since day 1, great effort and intensity, raved by some old timers as the raging bull. It was lucky for us to get him in the late first round, though it's offset by the fact we didn't get anything for him. The Posey trade was a failure. Kenny did hog the ball in his last season here. IIRC he was in a contract year, he's post game was taken over by Yao, he's outside shooting was taken over by Griffin. He needed the ball to pump up his stats. I'd want him back because the situation has changed, but I doubt it'd happen.
Oh, if the choice is either JHoe or KT, then of course I will pick KT any day of the week and ten times on Sunday. Both are undersized PFs, but one is much quicker and has more hops and hustles more for rebounds, not to mention is more athletic and can shoot the mid-range jumper as good and is more consistent overall player. For whatever reason, this franchise just seems to have had a hard time getting its hands on a decent PF, even though they're plentiful in the Western Conference.
Maybe he was afraid that playing with Steve and Cuttino he would never see it again. I remember seeing Eddie sitting out at the 3p line, that sad look on his face and just about ready to cross his legs, fold his arms and take a nap cause he knew the ball was not coming his way. Team Selfish it was.
If we could somehow scam the Kings into a trade KT for JHow, we would get 5 years younger, 2+ rb's more per game, better defense, and a KT who has played with Iverson and esp. with Bibby and is probably ready now to play with Yao, Tracy, and Rafer. But I don't see it happening.
