Temperary or not... can Griff get a start at the 4 and more playing time? Or will we play Wizard at the 4 with this hot streak he is in?

Start Griffin? What has he shown to deserve that? Thomas was averaging 13pts, 7rbs and shooting 50% before the Portland game when he went out with an injury.

That's better than Mo Taylor was doing as the starter last year. Personally, I can't wait to see Kenny after Taylor comes back. He'll get to unleash that first step and 360's against some bench guys for a change.

Griffin has some learning to do, and while the team is struggling it's better that he learn in practice, IMO.

Saying KT was "shooting" 50% before he got injured is a bit misleading. The only thing KT's been able to hit are little layups, he can't shoot nearly as well as Taylor.

BTW Kelvin Cato is leading the team in "shooting"...

BGM, KT has been hitting the little mid range jumper this season with great consistency. Its been puzzling to me why he seems to have gone away from it the last couple of games but it has been very consistent when he has used it. KT has made a large improvement so far with his mid range shooting touch this year. KT does not seem to be throwing up as many treys this year as usuall.

What do you want from the 4 spot? 45% from midrange or 50% from inside?

Kenny is not hurting the team when he's taking shots. Period. The team is averaging 43%. That's inside, outside, everywhere.

Geez! I wish Steve would stop inflating his FG percentage by dunking the ball so freaking much. Show a little class and miss 60% from outside!

If KT misses time, we should start Willis at the 4.

I don't see Willis starting at the 4. I'd like to see EG get the start, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Walt in the starting lineup again. Despite Walt's big game against the Mavs, I'm surprised Rudy chose Walt of all people to match up with Nowitzki. I guess he wanted a proven 3pt shooter. Here's hoping EG and TMo get more minutes.

    Where did you read/hear this?

I thought I heard ESPN or CNNSI mention that Francis was having some foot problems, but I can't confirm that.

    RP,

I guess no one really stated it clearly, but this was a game-time report. Kenny got sent to the lockerroom with an injury.

I'm sorry but how does Kenny still play if he is injured? That is what I was stating... if Kenny can't play with this can Griff start or at least get more minutes.

MM, you started the post with <I>"Temperary or not"</I>, which lead me to believe that regardless of Kenny's injury, you were calling for Griffin to start.
