I'd have to disagree with you here. The will,effort and heart to do and accomplish something do not go with the ability or a special skillset. I could have more drive and heart than McGrady and still might NEVER accomplish anything on the basketball court and vice versa.

I think "part of talent" is decently worded. He didnt say heart and competitiveness just by itself equals success.
