How good do you think he can become? This guy is pretty impressive. He is a good defender and has a lot of potential at the offensive end as well.

I heard his house is right next to the Spurs practice facility so he is also very dedicated.

I think he is capable of being an all star in 3-5 years.

Reminds of Paul George last year. Really solid player, ace defender.
Then, boom, he becomes a star.

I think that's what will happen to Kawhi next year.

I see Paul George potential. He's still developing. He's only 21. Like Paul George I find it tough to believe that he will be able to take people off the dribble that often or create off the dribble.

He will never be Paul George good. George is a rare talent but I think Leonard will have a good chance to be a star player. The best part is he doesn't talk or say much and just plays the game.

Yeah, that's what I like about him.

Sort of off topic, but does anyone here think Parsons is better than Leonard? I don't.

I think they're even. Leonard has more potential though due to being 3 years younger. Parsons on the Spurs would be quite deadly. He's a great corner 3 shooter.

Leonard is 3 years younger than Parsons, and is a better defender/rebounder. I think they are even in terms of shooting while Parsons has better playmaking.

I actually think Parsons is a better shooter. Defense is similar. If the Rockets had a defensive scheme worth anything it would be quite close.

Leonard defends better, and hits the boards better than Parsons, might have a SLIGHTY better jumper, their athletic ability is really similar

but i think parsons has the higher upside, because of his ball handling and his passing ability

+1, I feel the playmaking ability of Parsons is giving him the edge right now

though in a few season (possibly as early as next) leonard's could see a Paul George esque (read similar not all star) improvement to vault him ahead, plus as others have alluded to he is younger

Parson isn't too far behind with his athleticism

but none the less, both these players are easily top 5 (you could make the case for top 3) in that 2011 draft imo

Leonard is a good, high-end role player. Doesn't create enough for himself & others to be considered a star player. But I like his game & am still disappointed we picked Marcus Morris over him.
