    What a horrible nickname.

A bankrupt company that used to compete against Wal-Mart and Target.

Sounds awfully fierce to me

Dont mess with K-mart..... He is one cheap dude.

    Kenyon Martin, K-Mart
    Tracy McGrady T-Mac
    David Robinson, D-Rob
    Jeff Van Gundy, J-Van :D j/k

I dont know, I dont think of the store K-Mart when I hear his nickname. I dont think many people say, K-Mart went bankrupt, what a dumb nickname, when they hear it.
    Maybe that just me.

Back in the day, they used to have real nicknames. Iceman,Dr.J,Dream, the glyde, air, Chief, and so on, but now its like abbreviations like T-Mack. The creative nicknames have seem to left us.

I can't wait 'til a guy named Wally Martin enters the league.

He'd be all, taking over small towns, putting mom and pop stores out of business.

    Wal-Mart would be badass.

Actually David Robinson is probably known more by the nickname "The Admiral". He also the best nickname for a homecourt when the old Spurs stadium and the paint was called "Mr. Robinson's neighborhood". There's still some good names around, the Franchise, The Cat, the Glove. Shaq is known by a bunch of nicknames: Shaq Daddy, the Daddy, The Diesel, Shaq-Fu. I love those names! lol. Air Canada. "The Big Dog" Glen Robinson. And isn't Shawn Bradley called the Preying Mantis? "The Answer" Allen Iverson, and I think Paul Pierce is called something like "The Question". Starbury. "The Matrix" Shawn Marion. There are a few out there.
