In Washington DC. A good friend of mine checked in JVG in a hotel in downtown DC last night. Said he was here to talk to a player and his agent. Any idea who? I know Francis is still in the area.

    Could Ewing be the "player"?

We don't have any more additions or current players who would require their agent to chat with JVG.

Didn't JVG and P-Ew meet in Houston yesterday? Gee, can someone fly across country that quickly?

Why would Gundy tell anyone why he is anywhere?

What do you mean? It is not like he is a secret agent or anything. He seems to be personable and if a fan stopped to talk to him and the subject came up, I am sure Jeff would would say what he is up to.

maybe, pat and jeff met in houston, then flew to DC to talk to his agent.

but why would jeff call him a player? he could have been there to talk to one of our FA's ( Tmo, collier, J-po).

Maybe steve is hanging out up there? If he was in Norfolk Va for his record label earlier this week, DC is about 3 hrs away, so its possible he's chilling back home for a week or two.

nice gold club comment. I wonder if Houston's world famous strip clubs have anything to do with him considering joining the Rox.

Charles Oakley's a free agent this year in Washington in case anyone's curious(cringe). The wizards other free agents are Tyrone Lue and Bobby Simmons.

Outside of Stackhouse, it doesn't seem like the Wiz have anyone the Rockets would likely be interested in trading for.

It was just mentioned on 610 that this is exactly why JVG was in DC. (to talk to Franchise)

Looks like this guy just gave everyone a scoop that turned out to be true and he didn't get much credit for it.

I hope he went there to say goodbye to one of those three (not Francis, of course)

Glad to contribute. My source would kill me if she found out that I posted this information. The hotel has a pretty strict policy on celebrity sightings. Anyways, I think the innocent is protected.
