He would bring alot needed toughness this rocket team is missing and he is a very tenacious defender.

The "blackhole" talk is just a BBS fallacy that just picked up steam before he was traded. The guy was averaging less than 10 shots a game in 30 mins.

I remember there was joy around this board when Rudy.T got rid of Kenny. A lot of people believed that he was the cancer on the team, a black hole that never passes. Now looking back, You have to see that he was playing for a contract because Rox didnt pick his 4th year up 2 years ago.
I still think Kenny is an undersized PF in the west. He can do it in the east doesnt mean he can do it in the west. Howard averaged 17pts and 8 rebounds with Olando.

Hmm..I like him..but I'd rather have Nene, Marshall, Rose, and White. What a dream lol please happen. We'd be so good. I'd give up everyone besides Sura, Barrett, Yao, and Tmac for Nene, Marshall, Rose, and White.

I heard on ESPN radio that Dever wouldnt even tade Nene for J.Kidd.

Now is Wang ZhiZhi the answer to our 4 spot. Wang can flat out shoot, if that is what is lacking. Wang's D isnt as bad as lot of people think.

    "Deja vu all over again."

There wasn't enough minutes for MoTaylor, EG, and Kenny Thomas. What makes the situation any better with MoTaylor, Kenny Thomas and Juwon Howard? Add in the negative that is Jeff Van Gundy, and this deal (assuming it is any more than idle chat) makes no sense.

Nah, it was more a response to knowing he was going to shoot the ball as soon as he did that stupid little spin move.

I was one of the biggest proponents of getting K9 out of Houston- I had even proposed K9 for Posey the summer before it happened (K9 for Posey plus a swap of first round positions, to be exact).

That said, I kind of like his fit with the current group, assuming we could move MoT or Howard out. K9 plays hard all the time, which is something we apparently lack. He's a solid mid-range shooter (Mo used to be better, but apparently spent the offseason forgetting how to shoot), and will hit the boards. Our rebounding problems have nothing to do with size- we just don't have guys going after them. K9 will do just that.

Could it be Cato? I have noticed that he had not been in the Orlando rotation for a while, is he injured? or...

This was never a dream. :D

Seriously, JJ+Boki for Nene+White. It cant even be joke. Kiki is proven to be shrewd trader. I dont think CD can pull this one on Kiki, not even if CD strips.

Agreed, he should help with the "energy" issues and with his above average rebounding skills.

Everybody loses his shooting touch in Gundy's system. Tmac is no more gunning. No more Shanghai Shake or mid-range shooting from Yao. 17pts career average Howard cannot drop even 10pts a night. Need I go on. Gumpy believes it starts with Defense and hustle. Well, that might suit well with a bunch of guys that are not talented enough. Even look at Knick he coached, that was not a bad team at all.

    O. Harrington shouldn't be too hard to get. Although he is far from ideal he is a better rebounder than anyone else right now and works hard.

Kenny Thomas blows. I was so happy when the Rox traded him...almost as happy as when the Rox got Tmac. If he comes back to Houston I will never watch/listen to another Rockets game until he's gone.

KT can't shoot. He hustles, but IMO is just as turnover prone as JJ.

Kenny Thomas is garbage. He can't shoot, is only 6'7, and puts it up every time he touches it. Pretty much shows the sad state of your power forward rotation when "he tries hard" is the only virtue stated by supporters of a possible acquisition. This dude's got 6 more years on his deal. I wouldn't even trade Mo Taylor or Juwon Howard for him and that's saying alot.
