Yeah- it's confirmed. the Celtics game is on right now, and they just showed Yao talking to JVG. Stu Scott said that JVG is gonna be part of the broadcast team, likely meaning him+Breen+Mark Jackson.

I'm a Rockets fan, and the amount they talk about the Rockets kinda makes me cringe. Admit it - if we weren't Rockets fan, we'd have 8 threads going on about this.

Why would you talk about anyone else during a Rockets-Warriors game? There's nothing really positive to say about the Warriors.

Isn't apart of your job as a commentator objectivity? Come on. You find things to talk about if there isn't. I could totally see why other viewers would be annoyed by this (not that I've heard anything about this, but then again, I don't peruse other fan forums).

    1. the Rockets, if healthy, can make the Conference Finals
    2. Yao Ming is the best Center in the NBA
    3. Tracy McGrady, when healthy, is one of the most dangerous players in the league.
    4. In-N-out burger is the best pre-game meal for a broadcast team when they are on the west coast
    5. Texas and New York should get an In-N-Out Burger

Yao's the best center in the league, followed by Howard, Bynum, Nene, and I forget who the 5th one was. He didn't have Shaq in his top 5.

He said when McGrady is healthy, he's as good as anyone other than LeBron and Kobe.

He was very harsh on the Phoenix Suns for their unwillingness to play hard, particular on defense, for Terry Porter. He didn't like how Diaw and Bell took shots at Porter after getting traded.

He initially said that Kurz wasn't a shot blocker, but by the end of the game he was putting him in the same company as Wilt and Russell in terms of defensive presence.

He said Golden State had no ooncept whatsoever of defense. But in their defense, they were very undermanned .
