It's just my opinion but I think the Rockets vs Knicks in the 94 Finals was the best finals series in the 90's. What do y'all think?
Am I in the Twilight Zone, or did he just ask if the 94 Finals was the best championship of the decade. Let me see....dododododododododododo Go Rockets!!
I meant the best finals series as far as matchup's go and the fact that it was 7 hard fought games almost all of them going down to the wire. In my opinion, looking at it objectively as a basketball fan, I think it was the best series in the 90's. There was no clear cut favorite to win the series.
After Game 6 Hakeem knew who would win, I just wish he would've shared that knowledge with me and maybe even a point spread.
It was too ugly from a unbiased fan's perspective. It was probably like watching the Piston/Celtic series this year. Brutal. That being said.......................Go Rockets!!! Bring back the red and gold Bring back the red and gold Bring back the red and gold
red and gold???hell no that **** is old.I don't care about what we did when we had them, its not gonna change anything. And what the hell does red and gold have to do with Rockets?
I'll take '95 over 94 any day!! The Roc's coming from the 6th seed, and sweeping over Shaq and the Magic...SWEET !! The '94 finals was I think a consensus pick for WORST finals on an ESPN poll or something of that nature (sorry Clutch if mentioning the dread station is forbidden...). Even in my biased memory, it was one of the ugliest finals I have ever watched. Having said that, the Roc's won, so it was still a thing of beauty to us, just like and ugly baby is still beautiful to it's mother...just don't show the pictures to anyone else, O.K.?
Suns vs. Bulls, '93 finals, Michael Jordan vs. Charles Barkley. John Paxon sinks the dagger 3 in game six to eliminate the Suns and win the first three peat. Damn you Danny Ainge, damn you to hell.
Although I enjoyed the outcome, the '94 Finals was fugly... Neither team reached 100 points in the seven games Starks couldn't hit the ocean if he fell out of a boat during game 7 Most lopsided center matchup outside of Shaq vs. the Nets less running than a wheelchair basketball game Knicks actually had a HIGHER scoring average than the Rockets during the series For pure asthetic value, the '95 series was about 200 times better than '94
