The Rox in 3 years IF only 3 small things happen. 1. Mo Taylor sticks, and improves his "laneability" (Im officially coining this phrase. If he could just grab a few more boards, and bang just a bit harder on O and D in the middle...Not completely implausable. 2. E Griff turns out to be the real deal. Again not impossible to imagine. 3. Cato can just be an average NBA Center, and improve his Rebounding. Assuming Francis and Mobley continue to progress as immensly as they have been. And Les, Carrol, and Rudy continue to do the things to make this a top rung orginization. Wow. This team is young, fast, exciting, and short of Cato right now eager to improve. I as well am stoked about this young team that has nowhere to go but up. I think your first and second items are very possible. However, the third seems to me almost beyond hope, of which I must admit to being a instilled with a little more than I expected after reading CBFC's column. But I still feel the Rockets organization is making headway into some kind of fallback plan, other than Dream, in case Cato sucks it up again, so the third option is not really a necessity. Also, one more thing. I do believe Francis's contract will be up before three years, so part of your list should be that we resign him to a long contract. I know this is very likely, as Stevie loves Houston and Cat, and wants to stay here, but it is a necessity for this team, nonetheless. ------------------ Rockets need power forward. Mo near now.
