Why not just blow the season and get in position to get the #1 pick in the lottery? I mean, let all our young players play and take this entire season to work on new offensive and defensive game plans. By making the playoffs as a low seat and losing in the first round will do nothing to improve the ballclub in the future. What would improve the ballclub, however, is get our young players experienced and see who we want to keep and who to let go. Then we go into the lottery with a high pick (preferentially 1st pick) and draft another future All-Star to team up with Francis as our new 1-2 punch. I say in two to three years from now, we would have two superstars and great role players (Mobley, Cato, Rogers, Drew, T-Mass, Thomas, Hamilton, and Anderson) to get us many more championships.
