Why not trade Moochie and Mobley for A. Miller. We can have a small but very active (rebounding, fast breaks, etc.) back court. Steve can play the 2 & AM can play the 1. I never post but I've been reading the BBS for years. I'm about to move to DC (hence the screen name) so I'll be reading and posting quite a bit more.
welcome to the board Secret Agent. In theory, I would love that lineup after the trade, even though I'm a big Mobley fan. But ... 1. we'd have a harder time resigning Francis after shipping off his friend and moving him to a postion that he said he didn't want to play. 2. Mobes contract is a steal for a player of his calibur. 3. Miller is a FA soon too. So we would have to worry about re-signing him(to the max no less) as well as Francis.
Can u people please get off the rockets guards backs. Its th e 3 and 5 positions that are the problem, not the backcourt. For everyone who wants andre millar, consider this: Moochie averages 5 apg in 20 min. If he played Francis min. of 40 mpg he would have 10 apg. He is the poor mans andre miller. And no he doesnt dribble too much, just often. He had 17 freakin assists in one game! AND WE LOST!!! Consider this before all of you start begging the Rox to trade Francis for a "traditional" 1 : Francis = 6.5apg in 40mpg. = winning record at start of the season Mooch = 10apg in 40mpg = 2-20. See a pattern???
