I think everybody should bet on the Rockets on their first game in Indiana because Vegas thinks the Rockets are gonna be horrible and the line for the Pacers to cover will be pretty high. I'd say about 7 or 8. I'm doing a plan where i'm gonna bet 50 bucks and if I win I'll get a 100 seat to the next home game. If I lose, then my nose will bleed.

I agree, I mean, everybody doubts us, its time we start winning. If we can make a buck off it, then even better.

that would be tight if.... the Rockets made a bet to another team..
    for instance lol....

If Rockets beat Indiana they can receive a player from the Pacers and if Pacers win they can get a Rocket player lol

    ok i killed it..

Chip, you're right. We aren't a sub .500 team. Not really.

The league will be surprised; with a healthy Francis/MoT/Rice back.

But, we still need time to gel; chemistry.

    I wouldn't take that bet.

Someone will have to refresh my memory what roster changes the Pacers have undergone this offseason, but don't forget that we won't have Mo T the opening game, and Yao will be playing desperate catch-up with the team having missed training camp, etc. Yao also may come out with something to prove after the WBC, which I fear may put him in early foul trouble and make him a non-factor. Consider the changes of system (we hope) Rudy will be implementing in the preseason that the entire team will have to adjust to, as well as at least two of our starters being different from last year's, and I don't consider that a recipe for optimism, despite the talent we have and the confidence I have for the rest of the season.

I am almost compelled to agree with you on so many terms, but many faltering facters arise. You made a very true statement when you said that Pacers have undergone almost no roster changes. The problem with that is, we have practically the same team as last year, obviously we have some new additions, but just in a healthier state. With that in mind, who do you think will win? Our Rockets of last season, or the Pacers of last season. When Francis was healthy, I remember us as doing well. Don't ask me, maybe I'm just rambling....
