Mason's dunk was better. Desmond got screwed by the judges on his second dunk of the finals. It should have put the contest out of Richardson's reach.

I thought Mason's dunk was more impressive because it was done with the left hand and under the left leg. I can't even do it without jumping on a rim over my apartment door. It takes a LOT of coordination!

Man switching the through the legs and finishing off with the left hand that was the best dunk i have seen since VC was in the contest three years ago. Mason was kinda jobbed but that dunk was too plain after his great dunk just before thats probably way. Man i hope JRich and Mase are in it next year too.

Amare did look odd out there he is too big for the contest though he can throw it down.

I'm not sure but wasn't Richardson's dunk with the left hand and backwards? I do know that it was one of the most amazing dunks I have ever seen.

Does anyone know where those who missed the contest can find some clips?

no way, Richardson's last dunk was insane.

Going backwards, under the legs, while his head is scraping the rim? That was the best dunk of the competition.

I don't know, I think Mason overall did better, he should have won it in my opinion.
but he defeinitely did better than the time he actually won the contest a few years back..

That was an awesome dunk. IMO, the only one deserving of a 50 in the competition today.

I think they should be less liberal about giving out such high scores. If they give out that many 48's/49's/50's, what will they award for an even better dunk? JRich's last dunk was way better than his first dunk of the competition, but they were both rated 50's.

Some cool dunks, but overall its still kind of boring. I mean who the hell wants to watch Desond Mason, RJ, JR or Amare?

People want to watch Francis, Vince, Kobe, Baron, Finley, etc. Till the real stars participate this dunk contest is pretty lame.

I do. I just want to see great dunks, and tonight Mason and JRich did dunks that even Carter, Kobe, etc could not have beaten.

That was the best dunk competition that I have ever seen.

Desmond did well enough to win it, but J-Rich's last dunk was just unbelievable. I think Amare coulda done somethin too if he coulda just finished that dunk.

    Great dunk competition.
