The two most popular shoe sellers in basketball. Thoughts? I bought some Iversons today seems like I am the only one who likes them better than Jordans. Discuss.
The Iverson's are pretty ugly looking. Looks like something circa early 90's bball shoes. As for the Jordan, they have a cleaner look towards the sole area. But I can't get past that horrid color design. What's up with all the gold on both shoes? What happened to solid black bball shoes?
i dunno its pretty hard to decide between these two. seems equally ugly. you can get quality nikes for under $100 anyways. but if you have to choose between these two, i ll say the jordans.
between those two? I'm not really into ugly shoes. if you put some dog **** in a tiffany crystal bowl with a jumpman logo and a pink ribbon on it, i wouldn't buy it.
Without starting a new thread- Does anyone have any suggestions for a good basketball shoe for $100 or less. I'm about to start playing in a basketball league and my shoes suck.
So funny bc its so true. However, I had a pair of Iversons for 3 years and they were great. However they were just plain white.
If ever shatter either of your ankles, making you prone to sprains in pretty much every sport, you would change your spots on this. Basketball shoes are pretty much the only type of shoes I can wear when I play raquetball.
Believe me when I tell you this from practical experience: the T-Mac IV are an amazing pair of shoes, very stylish and very comfortable b-ball kicks, you wouldn't be disappointed.
Honestly Vikram those are both pretty hideous! I say go with the T-Mac's as well (as long as they hold up over your seasons schedule), then again I havent played ball in a while, muchless owned a pair of basketball shoes. When I get athletic shoes I get some for playing tennis. But that's just how hip I am...
I hated the IV's. They're extremely heavy and when you tighten them up you don't get an even dispersion of pressure. The III's were alright and the V's seem pretty good, but I wouldn't suggest the IV's.
airforce duo force ($60), i think thats what they are called, fits me nice and comfy but i only played during gym class. or nike flight shox, the new 2k huraches.
