I am not sure if this has been talked about, but how would Steve have done against the "greatest of all time"?

He wouldn't have ever guarded Jordan, and if he did, he would have gotten thoroughly abused.

steve would've probably dropped 50 on him and held jordan to around 10 with his stifling D. yao of course would win 64 to -3.

Hell, why stop there, what about Francis vs. Dr. J, or Francis vs. Magic or what about, Francis vs. Earl Campbell, could he have stopped him the list goes on. Francis vs. Hitler, so many fantasy possibilities.

I have seen idiots who tried to pit Yao against Shaq, Akeem or Duncan in other threads too. Is conspiracy to bash a player a way of life on a bbs.

There is no comparison! Jordan is THE man, and Francis is the IsoH with an H yo...cause thats how we do it 'round here!
Basically he would be just another wipping boy on Jordan' long list of players he took to school on his way to 6 rings.

How dare you put Jordan in the same sentence with the great "Franchise"? There is no way MJ can stay with Steve, and Steve would shut down MJ completely on the other end!

Franchise vs. Jordan, both in young form, would be fun to watch, but Jordan would win. Hello. He was on the all-defensive team, and Steve, well, is trying harder.

Let's explore the other matchups mentioned.

    * Earl Campbell vs. Steve Francis: I have to go with Earl. I think Steve would move quickly to the line of scrimmage, but I don't see him being able to bring Earl down by himself.

    * Hitler vs. Steve Francis: Hitler wins this one. Sure, Francis can get a lot of shots off, but Hitler's luftwaffe would make things difficult for Steve. Hitler, in his prime, has too much in his arsenal.
