I just don't like the practice of comparing rookies to other players, especially Jordan. It seems to create too much of an expectation for the player.... if they can't meet it, then they're a failure in many people's eyes. I think we should enjoy having a terrific young rookie on our team. If in 5 years Francis is scoring 25ppg, dishing out 10 assists, and winning championships, then let's compare him to Jordan.
Francis will make his own name. Wilt, Russel, Byrd, Kareem, Magic, Jordan all made their own name. The same will be with seve francis. The only thing that matters is taking over a game at the end. That makes the super super stars. Did you know tha magic never reached the 20,000 point plateau. Scoring does not a super star make. It's the toughness to win the close ones and lead the way in the routes. Francis has that. Jordan had it.
