I thought Hakeem said Houston is where he wants to be?

Jordans a very persuasive individual and Hakeem can become very gullable at times. It's very possible that Dream will play for Washington next year. And don't forget about Barkley, who probably has, I'm sure, already begun to entice his old teammate, Hakeem.

I can see Charles and Pippen on the same team, they have made up. I still hate Pippen's guts, but if they could win a championship for Charles, and a 3rd one for Dream, and school some of the egotistical young players who are all about themselves, then I think it would be worth it.

Charles & Pip have made and I think that may be a possibility.
Portland may be willing to dump him for close to nothing at this point and Pip was only succesful when he played with MJ.
I just don't know how many old-timers MJ would actually take. I could see MJ-CB4-Dream and then maybe a couple old vets to man the end of the bench (ala Mullin or Majerle for shooting and Majerle for his defense) but I would be surprised to see more than 3 "core" old timers.
MJ wants to build a team which can eventually be more succesful than now (after he retires again) and I don't think acquiring all guys 35+ does that.

I bet Charles would love to be on a team with Drexler and Pippen...

We've already tried this before. Barkley/Olajuwon/Pippen didn't work. That was in '98-'99. Barkley/Olajuwon/Drexler didn't work. That was in '96-'97! Who in their right mind would think that Barkley/Olajuwon/Jordan would work in 2001-2002? This would be after Barkley taking almost 2 years off, and Jordan taking 2 years off. These 3 guys, all at almost 40, are somehow going to scare the league? That is laughable. Saying Barkley was "the best player" on a 34-win team when he went out is supposed to be a compliment?
