If I am not mistaken, didn't we draft this guy? We traded for that scrub Jason Collier for this guy. He is putting up freaking big numbers this year, what is the deal with this guy?

Pryzbilla has been putting up great numbers. He has been on a rebounding tear for the past month (back to back 17 rebound games), and "The Eraser" even got 6 blocks tonight. His offensive, defensive, and total rebounds per 48 minutes rankings are no worse than #13 in the league. He cannot shoot from the stripe, but he teamed with Theo Ratliff are a good inside presence for Portland.

Then again, I also remember when Jason Collier was on a tear towards the end of the season with the Hawks.

Point is, everybody shines for a while. He is in a good situation now, but I see him falling off or signing elsewhere in the offseason and not being productive.

He's been bouncing around, a loser from the git-go. He appears to have found himself, finally. I applaud a guy who can do that.

I hope you're not suggesting the Rockets made a mistake in not picking up this guy in the draft.

Make no mistake about it, Przybilla would have lasted here no longer than Collier did. He was playing at a 3rd string level while he was a Buck. So bad, that people still aren't quite sure how to spell his name correctly. (ahem)

Just picked him up on my fantasy team a few days ago. Paying off big-time.

Pryzbilla's career to this point has defined the word "stiff".

It's shocking to see his performance in the last couple of weeks. How can someone turn their career around so dramatically?

He's 25, and was a "project" coming into the league. He was expected to develop slowly. Some projects work out, some don't. Book's still out on Prz, but he's got a chance to be pretty good.

i think the rockets had their sights set on demarr johnson that year. when he was taken before the 9th pick, the rockets decided to trade down. it actually worked out well, one scrub for another plus a 1st round pick. if eddie panned out like he was supposed to, everyone would be talking about how smart rudy and CD were

And unlike a lot of baseball players, he doesn't seem to improve himself using juice.

Good for him but he isn't an athletic player who could fit with the Rockets.

I wish I was a stiff in the NBA. It would beat the heck out of repairing automobiles. :(
