Look them dead in the eyes and tell them you will not take anything less than $20/hr

Pound your fist into the desk, lean forward and whisper into the managers face "I'm a balla, you'd be a fool not to hire me."

Dress nice, be confident in who you are. Tell them you work well with others and want to be part of a team setting. If it's a job that requires you to work with the customer, tell them you take pride in helping people

Retail jobs are usually a slam dunk if you even show up for the interview, unless you're way overqualified. Be on time, dress business casual (like their other retail associates), well groomed, firm handshake, eye contact, show a genuine interest in the job even when we all know its for the $$$. Be sure to ask questions at the end.

Whatever you do, do not ask about their policy on employee theft or how much money the company loses due to this.

I would bring a resume, it can't hurt. If I were you, I would come up with a list of at least 2-3 questions to ask. As far as specific questions to ask, maybe ask them if they have any sort of training that you would have to go through or possibly ask what kind of hours they are looking for you to work. Always ask questions at the end of an interview!

Ask how much discount you will get and if you can have weekends and evenings off?

Ask to work in the lingerie dept?
