Redskins favored by three... playing in DC, night game. I am taking the 'skins. They depleted the JETS in FA, but this number still seems low. Maybe I am just used to college spreads. Any thoughts?

I am waking up at 4:30 am (my time...9 hours ahead of the states) to watch this game. Been deprived of football way too long.

I would want the JETS to win because i want not testaverde to be the starding QB but their rook bollinger. he is a great rookiee qb. i want him to bust out.

Martin is going to run it up the gut all day long... the Skins middle is weak

that said I think Washington will get dominated in T.O.P. but sneak out a win with superior special teams play and aggressive play calling

I'm thinking the Jets' QB situation has ESPN wishing they would have picked another game to open the season with.

It sure has me thinking that....but I'm still pumped there's NFL football on tonight! :)

Being a Cowboys fan, I definitly want the Redskins to lose...badly...like by 50. I don't really know THAT much about the Jets, but I am just picking them to win.

    SWEET!

I don't care much for the matchup, but apparently my brother was working this past week on the pregame concert. I guess he was helping setting up or editing audio or visual equipment.

He said record it, I guess meaning he might be on. Hmmmm....

Oh, and he met Britney. :D

You know it, dude. Life isn't quite the same in the islands without summer long Madden and NCAA dynasties, is it?

Your presence in fantasy football is sorely missed, bro.

Just curious, what happened to Melissa Stark the ABC sideline reporter? She has been replaced by Lisa Guerrro. Why did ABC dump Melissa and does anyone know if she has moved on to another network?

She got pregnant. I think she is still in the ABC family in some capacity.

Guerro is not very impressive as a sideline reporter.

True, but she has an amazing set of funbags. And I say that with the greatest of respect.

Lisa Guerrero's postgame interview with Ramsey was horrible. Did she ask him how it was like playing with ex-teammate Coles? I was like WTF did she just say.

She also could not make it through any of her bits without reading. She is more like Eric Dickerson quality reporting versus Melissa Starks... Melissa where are you!!!!

They should bring in Brooke Burke.... ma-ma!!

well that game sucked ass. i didn't watch all of it, but every time i turned it on, the jets were throwing 2 yards shorter than they needed on third down. and al michaels kept getting on them for that, which was nice. 158 yards of offense. good lord. get some imagination. get aggressive. do something. it's not like they were facing the '85 bears or something.

and after washington started out by hooking my boy coles (as in he's on my fantasy team) up w/ 106, they never threw to him anymore and basically just ran a lot and sucked on offense too. it was like neither team was particularly concerned with winning in the 4th. just run and short passes, run and short passes (is greg davis calling all of the plays in football now!) and then punt like time wasn't running down or something.

that's one thing that pisses me off about the nfl, the ultra-conservative offenses.

How many times can they say "Jetskins" last night? That was so annoying. It's almost as annoying as hearing "walkoff" on sportscenter.

Now that I do not have a CD player in my car:rolleyes: , I have to listen to the *shudder* radio.

But it hasn't been all bad as I have been listening to sports talk shows for the most part.

This one show had John McClain, who I think writes about the Texans, and he was blasting Snyder and Vinny Cerato for cutting Wuerfel and Kenny Watson because Spurrier told the two of them that they were going to be on the team. Yet, they get cut behind Spurrier's back.

He made it sound like that Spurrier is out of Washington after this season.
