they are kickin a** here to start things, while miami, twolves, pistons and other teams arent really dominating, do you guys think these 3 teams ( all 3 are rocket nemesis) will slowdown and move down t standings as the season goes or are seattle and phoenix the #1 and 2 seeds come playoff time?

For Pheonix, as long as Nash is running the show and doesn't get hurt, they should easily be scoring a million points a game and staying as ho t as they. They just have such a fast paced game and have the players to compliment it and i just don't see them slowing down unless it's because of injury.

AMARE is playing like a YOUNG SHAWN KEMP!!

Phoenix - Seattle - Spurs - Minn - Dallas is better than us

Rockets - Jazzs - Memphis - Lakers - Denver are going to be fighting for the 6-8 playoff spot.

You can take Memphis out of that equation

Those teams will fall back down to their level. Phoenix could finish with a great regular season record then get bounced early. Utah and Seattle aren't going anywhere, they'll battle with the low seeds for a playoff berth.

Memphis X..not dissin them just looking at it like this, they didn't get too much better this summer while everyone else did, and they just got rid of hubie, they haven;t settled on fratello yet, they have no direction (yet). I was at Hubie's last game, and man... what a waste of talent. I just see them finishing 9th or tenth....of course things can turn around.

    BTW you live in Memphis?

Having seen them play, I'd say that the Sonics aren't as good as their record, and will not compete in their conference if Danny Fortson's their main interior presence. Robert Swift is their future center I guess - but since he hasn't been playing, I'm glad the Celtics wound up with Al Jefferson :)

I agree with your assesment of the Sonics, however, they do just enough to win, In the Memphis game ray allen left for almost a whole quarter when he tweaked his ankle, no problem Rashard took over. They are the surprise of the season, just as much so Memphis not doing well is also a huge surprise
