The Jazz drop another one. They just lost to the Sixers 89-88.

Anyone think we're going to catch them? Anyone care if we catch them or not? Either way, we're playing them in the first round, does homecourt matter all that much?

    We might get it...

Also, that last game of the season (We play Utah) could come up HUGE in the race for homecourt.

YES We want that Homecourt, the only positive about not having it is that your an underdog and this team seems to like that position.

Right now, we're three back in the loss column, and we'll play them two more times. So if we can take them both, we'll have a great shot at taking home-court.

I'd certainly take it. If we can take home-court away from Utah, it would be a nice boost to our confidence and it would mean that we're playing some good ball.

Agreed- We need home court against them. any advantage we can get to get out of th 1st round-please!

If we make it past the 1st round this will be a huge confidence booster against anyone!

2.5 games back, 3 in the loss column...

we could easily get home court

we have two games against utah as well...

the last game of the season could decide who gets home court!

And they're playing in Cleveland tomorrow.

Boozer's 1st return to Cleveland since he screwed them over.

I'd bet everything on the Jazz losing tomorrow, too.

Holy hell, Lakers-Blzers is proving to be very intresting though. Both teams trading baskets at a frantic pace in OT, Kobe with 60 points!

We WILL get homecourt and of course I care.
I feel real confident that we can take on the Jazz.

Call me crazy but I'd rather the Jazz have homecourt because it relieves pressure off of us. I can see us stealing game 1 in Utah and then finishing them up in game 6 at home. This team is totally different from the 04-05 team that played Dallas. If we win game 1 or 2 in Utah we will be money.... as opposed to losing game 1 or 2 at home it puts more pressure on us.

but, if we get homecourt, espicaly since we were like 5 games back a week or so ago, don't you think thats going to give us a little postive boost up?

Ditto, completely agree. I would rather start on the road, this team is notorious for starting off strong and I am positive we would steal one if not both games in Utah w/ Mac playing like he can and Yao as focused and determined as ever before.

This team feeds off confidence more than anything else. I think if we win this series it will be in 6 games or less. If we go the distance, we will lose.

No, the TC sucks. I am not very confident playing at home. There is something about the TC that doesn't inspire me with too much confidence.

well when you think about it, do you really want the 3rd seed. If you look wayyyyyy ahead. If we beat the Jazz, we'll get Dallas in the 2nd Round. If we move up to 3rd we'll get PHX in the 2nd round. I'd rather have PHX go through San Antonio. I dont think PHX ca beat the Spurs...I'll take my chances with the Spurs in the WCF....
