I know the guy can be an idiot, but if we were to lose Moochie to free agency do you think we could make a sign and trade for J-Williams? It may not take much to get him and he fits the offense perfectly. I think the Rockets would have some serious considering if the opportunity arises.

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he is the most overrated point guard in the league. his shot selection is worse than vernon maxwell's. his defense is, well, his defense is as bad as shandn's offense. his passing has even gone down, if you ask me.

and can you imagine him as a backup to francis??? talk about a blown up chemistry session!

    dude, i hope you're kidding.

    j-will is j-wont.

Tell us what you really think.

Jason Williams would improve the way Houston moves the ball up the court.

-If- he were on the team, he and Francis would probably start at the G positions.

    Interesting.

I'd rather not take on a guy who has trouble beating out Bobby Jackson for minutes.

JW last year, and for his career, has averaged more assists and less turnovers per minute played than Francis. JW is a good offensive PG for setting up his teammates. But his shot selection is questionable. And he can't create his own shots like Stevie either.
He is poor defensively as, well as bad as our own guards (Cat & Francis).
But no I don't see him as a fit here, unless it is used as a lure for C-webb. C-webb seems to like him.

    Blue,

You really need to stop talking about Williams like you do.

Before, you suggested he had the 2nd best shot to Allen Houston, now you are suggesting he replaces Cat in our starting lineup?

Do you think Cat would average 8ppg and 2.9 apg in the playoffs like Williams did this year?

Cashed that check a long time ago.

Jason Williams, however, would be a great addition to Houston.

    No.

Under no circumstances should this even be considered. Ever.

the only way j-wont would be a good addition is addition by subtraction. leave him off my team!!!

seriously, the only way i'd take j-dud is if c-webb insisted. nope, not even then. i just can't fathom him backing up francis for the next 7 years and being happy. then white chocolate goes sour and spoils the entire houston team. no thanks.

    vere :

DONT COMPARE J-Will to VERNON MAXWELL!!!

If it weren't for Vernon's dominance and fire, Game 3 , down 0-2 at the America West Arena, the Rockets WOULD NOT have won the 1st championship. Also, Remember Vernon hitting the CLINCHING 3pointer game 7 against the Knicks. Mario and Kenny running to him with joy. A moment J-Will will NEVER HAVE.

Also, Vernon isn't a racist. He just beats people up regardless of race. J-Will is all talk. No skills.

When I'm agreeing with verse, you know the suggestion's crazy [IMG].

(well, I really only disagree with him about Shandon as far as I know, but we've had some real tussles)

You know, the sad part is that he actually has talent. He's not as big of a waist as Isaiah Rider, but he's close.

you know, speaking of j-dud, i wonder if he would be the poster boy he is now if he were not white....

i know this is a dangerous can o' worms, but think about what i'm sayin, please. all the flash and dance he does is amped up as a "white player" playing like a "black player". i can't stand this stuff. if he were a green player, he'd still suck in my book. but the nba has made him their little darling child.

    why???

oh and TheFreak, i knew i'd convert you!!! [IMG] [IMG]
