    What's your opinon on him?

He's supposedly gained weight and might crack the Top 10. I think Houston should push a deal where they offer the #15 and a player to get Jared. The down side is a forward duo of him and Griffin would be VERY thin.

    Thoughts?

i think that we need a good hard nose defender. how is jeffries defense? we have scorers, but i feel that defense is a lost art among young players today, aside from the super tall thin shotblockers, ala griffin. the league needs more mario elie type guys and less tall shooters.

I would take Chris Jefferies before Jared Jeffries, never seen him(Chris Jefferies) play but I have read that he is a great defender.

We have a defender in Tmo. What I really think we need since we have players that can create on their own is a shooter. And a great one at that. However if we could get a shooting specialist that is also a defensive stopper all roled into one, that would be best.

    LAfadeaway33, I respectfully disagree.

If anything, I don't think the Rockets have enough 'creators', especially in the frontcourt, of course.

    Honestly, I count 4, possibly 5, 'creators':

    Steve
    Cat
    Mooch
    KT
    MoT

In time, Eddie may develop the ability to create his own shot (from the low post, hopefully), but the Rockets will still lack that all important 'creator' from the wing. KT tries to fill that role, but he's better in the low post, as is MoT.

I would love to see the Rockets acquire J. Jeffries, however. IMHO, I don't see much of a difference between him and Dunleavy, Jr., and Jeffries could end up being a better pro.

I think that we absolutely must go after Qyntel Woods, this guy is a better swing man than Butler although he will suck defensively at first. If we can not gat him we should go after Stoudamire this guy will be all about defense with sick athleticism.
