What you want Artest but not Tinsley?

I guess Artest hasn't fired a gun in a parking lot or had shots fired at him by a bunch of thugs.

Anyone who watched Tinsley's OT meltdown this past year knows that this is the worst idea ever.

I honestly believe he is the worst starting player in the league.

pepole are willing to put up with artest's wreckless behavior because he's so much better than tinsley.

Someone will take a chance on him somewhere. Maybe not a playoff bound team but someone will. A fresh start a new city. No hoods, no guns, maybe it'll be good for him. Just look at how Stephen Jackson did after the Pacers unloaded him.

i just think that having a double headed PG of Tinsley and Alston is better than just Alston...

Obviously i would rather have Deron Williams or Chris Paul, but thats not happening...

Pair him with Rafer and we have a solid spot at the point for 48 minutes of solid ball handling and passing.

Stephen Jackson is one thug I wouldn't mind on this team.

Didn't realize Tinsley had all these issues. It's a shame. I used to really like his game (minus his shooting percentage). Very good court vision, ball handling, and passing skills.

Not worth the risk given the bad reputation.

Stephen Jackson before and after his time as a Pacer.

The key is not to let too many thugs fill one locker room or else you end up with a group like the recent Pacers or the Jail Blazers.

If we get him as a Rafer clone, then why we pay him higher than Rafer, and not wait till they cut him?

Tinsley is he is an injury prone head case, who played hard his contract year but since has been sporadic at best. He seems to prefer shooting people more than baskets. If the Pacers are willing to throw away 21 mil in salaryfor nothing in return than they clearly must feel the guy is a major negative. Just say no.

Since they want to get rid of him(Tinsley) so bad, do you think we can get Granger also to take Tinsley off their hands.lol

His handle is exceptional but other than that he's not a very good basketball player. Rafer is better. At least he plays smart and tries on defense.

This is a great idea. Let's trade for a guy who his team and his fans will accept anything to get rid of him. While we are at it let's trade for Randolph and Curry. We can be the new Knicks.

I wonder if Rafer brought a knife to a gun fight, or if Tinsley brought a gun to a tank fight?
