Google just announced it's music service today. Also, Google Music opens up to anyone in the United States today. Upload up to 20,000 songs for free still. They didn't say if they were going to eventually charge but as of right now, it's free and open for anyone in the U.S

T-Mobile customers will be able to pay for Google Music directly through their phone bill. T-Mobile guy is talking about their 4G network, saying that mobile audio makes up 15% of the data on their network.

Paid the $25 just so I can get better copies of the music I already own (most of which is 128-192kbps). The whole backup and re-download thing is just gravy. Once I'm done, I'll throw all my upconverted songs on Google Music. iTunes Match for my iPad & iPhone. Google Music for my Galaxy Tab. :)

You can use Google Music on the iPad too :)
in fact, on an iphone as well since it has an HTML5 version, it works pretty well.

I've been using Google's Music beta from the beginning. All I had to do was upload my iTunes albums to web. Now I have the best of both worlds for free.

Question: If I buy music from Google, will I be able to add it to my iTunes library? If not, that's a big problem.
