Steve will start in the All-Star Game. This makes up for last year's snub. I think he deserves to make it this year anyway, since the Rockets are so amazingly pathetic without him, while .500 with him. http://www.nba.com/allstar2002/participants.html
A front line of Shaq, Duncan, and Garnett simply boggles the mind... then you throw Kobe and Steve's high flying antics into the fray. I hope we see a lot of that lineup...
Shoulda been there last year. Here's a pic of him. http://www.nba.com/allstar2002/allstar_starters_020125.html
Cool to see him get a start However...how the hell does Jason Kidd not start for the East? MJ V Kobe should be good though...those guys egos are too big to not take it seriously. I wonder which one of them will claim they are injured in the days leading up to the game first?
Personally, I don't think Francis should be there since he missed some time..... ......but dude got screwed last year..... ......so I'm glad he made it, and I won't argue one bit
Congradulations Wink! I think he's gonna tear up Davis tonight and prove that he should be an all star!
Does this also mean that Stevie takes over as the top point guard in the Western Conference now that Kidd is in the East?
Lately Mobley is playing like he is pissed he didnt make it. If he plays like he has been the last two weeks for an entire year he will make it too one day.
Whenever Francis begins to play his heart out on defense is when he's the best PG in the league. Honestly, Francis will never be the passer Kidd is. But if he's as good on D, then better in rebounding, scoring, and leadership, we have the better overall player. Besides. Since he's the first scoring option, how many assists can he possibly get? Congratulations Steve. Kobe will get his way with MJ, let's see you beat Ivy. BTW, Kidd didn't get in because they were gonna sit who? MJ or Ivy? exactly. Vince Carter is playing as a Forward, so even MJ or Ivy could've been left out.
