So he can make the last post and declare himself the winner. It is really not that difficult for him. If I were on NBA Radio, I would call you up and ask you this question: Is someone who volunteers to serve hot meal in the SA a contributor to society? You would have to man-up to answer this question in front of the radio listeners.
MacFu, I'm going to make this as simple as possible. My church go downtown twice a month and to feed, clothed, and talk to homeless people right by the TC. There are people with degrees and all types down there, but for some reason they gave up or battle depression or something. Most of my church members aren't retired but they still fellowship and try to help people. That contribution by us, is nothing to what ali did during his peak as a athelete and as a person. He had a loud voice and spotlight and he spoke about america being wrong in vietnam. They froze his money, stripped his title and he went to jail. I just said money has tamed the modern athelete and yao doesn't have to wait to make his soup kitchen tour.
I believe SOME (not all) folks have confussed calling Yao's game soft with calling Yao a soft person, and SOME have gotten definsive about that because Yao is a great guy. I personally believe that Yao has a 'soft' game but is a tough and strong human being. Since we are really talking about his game here, let's try not to take it as a personal attack against Yao who we all agree has proven he is a great person. I struggle a bit to put my belief that Yao has a soft game into objective words, so here's an attempt to get at the gut feeling: I sometimes yell at the TV saying, "Don't let that 6'4" guy dunk on you!!!!" "Thrown that 6'8" guy guarding you out of the way!!!!" "Get a rebound!!!!" "Dunk it!!! Don't do that little flip shot and MISS!!!!!" "The people in the other colored uniforms are your ENEMY durring the game!!! Kill them!!!" ect...ect Am I alone in this somewhat bizarre spectator behavior?
I said some of those same things when Dream played against Shawn Kemp for years.....especially the 3 point? game......So atleast Yao is closer to his hero than we thought.

Leebigez had to write another post explaining his point again to you guys. and you pal MacFu got rookified for continually mentioning serving wonton soup or gumbo or minestrone or tortilla soup in San Antonio over and over again. I feel like Bigez's energy is being wasted here as opposed to his great analysis on NBA Radio. bigez mentioned Ron Artest about a thousand times last year and I'm glad his wish was granted! And since some of you don't listen to NBA radio, Bigez isn't a butt kisser, he'll criticize Yao or Tmac on the radio if they play bad and he'll make analogies to players of back in the day. If the only thing that I accomplished here is getting you guys to listen to BigEz on nba radio (new season starts in the fall), then you'll thank me.

Just because Ali wasn't Gandhi or Martin Luther King (two individuals who gave their lives), that doesn't mean he wasn't a courageous public figure who stood up for his convictions in the face of prosecution.

Nothing changed since last night. I said I'm not debating this anymore with you, and I didn't. But, that doesn't mean your juvenile admiration for a guy online can't provide amusement for me. And quit beating the dead horse. I respect Bigez and his point about Yao and basketball. But, he can still make logical errors in arguments.
