Due to heavy schedule demands in the present and the foreseeable future, I won't be posting in the D&D anymore. It's been fun, even educational at times, contrary to the stereotyping of the D&D. There is a good mix of characters here, although the forum can definitely use more balance. Over the past few years, I've tried to share some of the more interesting articles I've come across, tried to give more of a 'worldly' perspective on the major issues of the day, some were intentionally provocative, although I tried not to make a habit of it. So this will be my last thread for a while. In the immortal words of the great Gene Peterson: so long, until we meet again... I will leave you with this: http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/ "Just a moment outside the day to day struggle To let the ones we really care about know that we love 'em" -- Quan
Well heck, tiger, I'll echo what glynch said. I have thought of you for quite a while as one of the key contributors here... someone who had his own take on things and "damn the torpedos." I'll miss you. If you ever change your mind, don't be a stranger. And hey! What about your Sino/Indian relations thread?? (I was interested!) Impeach Bush!
That's a shame. I liked your contributions to this forum. Even if you don't participate, feel free to post long articles in here just for the sake of it. Informed thought has to take place before debate or discussion. We need more of that here.
Well your insight and perspective will definitely be missed. You always had thoughtful articles, and didn't get caught up in the hype. I hope your absence won't be too prolonged.
