People lets get to the point here and stop this with Francis. Its the whole team that is the problem. They do not pass, they jack up shoots (just ask Francis, Mobley, and Griffen), they are not aggressive, they do not come out to play and committ costly turnovers at the end, and and last but not least they make bad judgement. Isolation play to me is a cancer. That is what costs us games. In order to win games you must get your team mates involved. Look at all those games when the Rockets had 22 assists or more. They probably won them all. Even though I think Glen Rice has been worthless he should be the leader of the team because he has the most experience and also has a ring he won with LAL. Most of the time when Rice gets the ball early good things happen. When they start passing the ball to him late that is when he is cold. I also think EG is worthless to in ways. I dont care how much potential he has I dont want to get another year of lotery. I am tired of waiting and the Rockets need to do something right now. Rudy also needs to get more involved and solve the damn problem with this team.
Damn dude, did you even watch the game? We did not lose this game because guard isolation plays all night and just because our assists are down does not mean we were not moving the ball around. The offense against the Knicks was fine. We took quality shots all game. We had 4 starters in double digit scoring, as a team we hit 50% from the field and at the end of the game Yao Ming was looking unstoppable in the post. We scored 95 points. What lost us this game was first and foremost players like Shandon Anderson knocking down 3 point shots at the end of the game. Anyone that watched Shandon when he was in Houston knows that Shandon can not shoot to save his life. We lost the game because we did not play good defense plus Yao Ming and Steve Francis made some mental mistakes and got careless with the ball which led to 3 turnovers that cost us the lead with little time left on the clock. You give me the same type of offensive production from the Rockets and force the Knicks to put the Ball in Shandons hands to make 3 pt shots and the Rockets win that game 9 out of 10 games.
You're crazy if you think we're not aggressive. How many foul shots did we get in the 1st half vs. the Knicks?
