I think that Thomas got into coaching because his friend and childhood rival, Doc Rivers, was doing so well as a coach down in Orlando.
The people who are upset about this are insane. Just because the Pacers improved last year, doesn't mean that they still weren't underachieving. With that talent, they should have been the #2 team in the East.
