from espn: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/columns/story?columnist=stein_marc&id=2113328&num=2 Rose also has just two years left on his deal -- at $32 million total -- but the Raptors have two high-salaried players still on their books (Alvin Williams and the since-released Alonzo Mourning) who are far less productive than Rose. The same goes for Boston and Raef LaFrentz (four years and $47 million left); Mark Blount struggled far more than LaFrentz last season to justify his salary ($33 million over five years). is that for real? Zo was released? I thought he had a pretty decent year...what would you guys think about trying to bring him in...versus say deke... just a thought...
He still had a contract pending w/ Mourning when he was sent to NJ via Miami. He's still w/ the Heat.
That sucks! No mention of Finley and the Rockets. Dallas rivals= Pheonix and S A. What about Houston? You add Finley to Houston and were definatly a contendar.
If released, Finely will end up in Pheonix, where he can play with his good Canadian friend, especially since it looks like the Suns will be needing a SG soon once Joe Johnson bolts to A-town.
This is really quite silly. We're trying to get better. Sometimes that means faster, sometimes not. But Finley is clearly an upgrade in quality over any perimeter player we have other than McGrady.
