Is Lin "untouchable"?

    It all hinges on his production, he won't have a fan base or endorsements if he keeps playing like crap. Even if you're the biggest Lin fan ever, you would stop supporting the guy if he keeps on shooting 3-10 every single game. Hell even if you wanted to, he wouldn't get any PT because he keeps stinking up the joint, Lin's just lucky Bev is injured or he'd be benched by now.

    No, he will be an $8.5 million expiring contract next season with a $15 million salary. Basically if a team acquires him, they are paying luxury tax on him, even though they are bellow the salary cap.

    This is only a good thing if he is worth the $15 million. "Hey a $15 million player for only $8.5 on the salary. I'll take it!" Unfortunately, he is not even worth the $8.5. Worst contract evar!

    and I wouldn't call him untouchable, rather untradable.
