Just wondering because his only competition is Mo Taylor and he sucks so I was wondering if Rudy T is going to start Griffin at pf at the season opener.

I dont think its legal to start 2 pfs. But it may be ok if you switch one out with a sf.

Do you also feel that KT sucks since they have put up about the same numbers?

Moreover, MoT will be serving out his suspension at the beginning, so it will be KT starting.

EG has a great defensive game but still needs to work on his offense, especially his low-post game. Unless an injury occurs, EG will not be starting until at least the allstar break.

Mo doesn't suck, he is one of our main low post scorers and does a nice job at it. Griffin isn't going to start because he's foul prone. Why start a 20 year old with limited pro basketball experience? Griffin has a lot of learning to do, he'll come off the bench. What's the big with with Griffin starting anyway since he's likely to get starter minutes anyway?

What? Foul prone because he fouled out of one pre-season game? I completely disagree. Last year he very seldom got called for fouls.

If you remember, last season people were comparing his ability to avoid the foul to that of Moses Malone. He would have to do a 180 to from last year in order to be considered foul prone.

I also believe that Griff will start the first 5 games and his play will determine if Mo starts after that. I fully believe Rudy wants KT at the 3 for most of the time.

I think the first five games are key to the whole rotation this year. If Eddie can pull down 9 to 10 boards and 1.5 to 2 blocks a game while contributing efficiantly on offense then I think he reamains the starter. If Eddie can't handle the starters role and KT has to come over to take up the slack then I think MoT starts when he comes back.

A lot also hinges on KT's ability to play the 3. If KT is a proficient 3 then I think that is where Rudy T will play him. And in that case his time at the 4 would depend on Eddie and Mo's play. There is just too many variables that have to be determined right now to say who will start outside of Steve, Cat and Yao Ming.

I think there are a lot of things that could change between now and the 6th game of the regular season that could change the line up. What if TMo continues to play at a high level at the 3? I don't think Rudy T had planned on that when he decided to try KT at the 3. What if Rice is also healthy during this same scenario? He excpects starters minutes. If Eddie is playing well at the four then what do you do with KT when Rice is excpecting starters minutes and TMo is playing great.

i think he should start, but he needs to prove he can bring it every night. Rudy should bench his butt to teach him a lesson when he gets full of himself(as young players of today tend to do). They think a few good games in a row is a contract make, well it don't work that way. He is one of the most talened players in the league though.
