and they can pour it with shamrocks in the foam. man, i'm jealous. have a great time...if you can, take pictures and share them with us. i'd love to see.
not sure why but it does. I heard transportation but not sure. I don't think I drank anything else the other than Guiness and Harp the whole time I was there
FYI, for any of you that might be second generation Irish (Grandparents came over). You can apply to get Irish citizenship (and Passport ) without giving up your US. I'm in the process
I was in Cork last week. It was very nice. One of the most beautiful places I've visited. Have a Murphy's if you get a chance. We went down to Kinsale for dinner one night had a great seafood dinner.
The Guiness in all of Ireland is better that it is in the US. Some say it was because it doesnt travel well, but a lot of the Irish said it had to do more with how it is poured. How they fill a pint in Ireland is almost like an artform. There are mustiple steps involved in making the "perfect" Guiness. It actually wasnt as good at the top of the Guiness brewery because there were so many people there, they were pouring all the glasses quickley. I just got back this afternoon, great trip
welcome back! post pictures if you have 'em. where all did you go?? what did you see?? inquiring minds want to know.
I'll try to post some pictures tonight. I'm off to California for 10 days tomarrow, so I'll see if I have time before I leave.
I'm so freakin' jealous. One country I've never been to, except to see it from the air, and I've always wanted to go. Been to Europe several times, been around the world, but not where some of my ancestors have their bones. We were going to go this summer with the kids as part of a big trip to Europe, and my wife developed a herniated disc. She's much better, but we decided laying about on the beach was more our style this year. My bad back we could handle, but not two. So it's 2 weeks at a condo on a small island off of Yucatan. Top floor penthouse with a rooftop private deck that has couches, a grill, and a hot tub with a view of Isla Mujeres and the sea. WiFi, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, living room, wrap around balcony, and right on North Beach, where the topless ladies will intrigue our kids, I'm sure. It'll be tough, but it'll have to do.
I hear that you haven't really been to Ireland until you have had their crack. And gotten pissed drunk too.
wow, i'm the last person to ask that question of! i will be at the mucky duck enjoying an irish beverage this evening, though! slainte!!
The way I've posted pics is through my own website but there are a lot of image sharing sites out there and you could post to those and then post the links here by typing "" I haven't used any of the image sharing sites but I'm sure that the posters here can recommend a few. Look forward to seeing your pics!
flickr, kodak easyshare, google picasas, photobucket, imageshack there's a bunch of those types of sites out there... this is assuming your pics are digital. if not digital, you could always find a scanner and scan one or two in.
