Actually it's from and Associate press reporter from iran. is he lying to?.. it's he spreading lies?. please dont try to put the great name of iran with the mollahs. people who use Anti-mollah propaganda are not Anti-iran. the mol;lahs hate iran. all they care about is iran's resources. they send iranian peoples money to sudan and palestain. not to mention the annual blank checks hezbollah recives. all the while iranian workers go starving.

One can question you're blind support of the Regime Also. sitting behind a Computer in New york and singing the praises of the mollahs. without ever experiencing the hardships of the normal iranian has to face because of there incompetence. i bet i've been to iran alot more then you. honestly, you are truly out of touch with iran. you sit here with a straight face and say majority of iranian support this establishment. but if you ever botherd visiting iran, you would findout the opposite is more like the truth. i have family members who fought for iran against the iraqis. my dad, uncle both served in the Airforce when there commarades were being purged by you're beloved khomenie.

are u an iran basher too?

this thread was about a fabricated and non-existent iranian 'dress code'....it's been hijacked at least 2 times and gone way off topic to continually bash iran, but i wouldn't expect anything less

    blazerben,

Why not start a new thread instead of bringing back an already derailed thread about a fabricated story that has been thoroughly discredited?

I agree, I would love to see this in a new thread....some realistic views of Iran from 2 different perspectives.

I don't normally join in to political stuff but if it is simple discussion of how iran is and stuff i can tell you from my point of view. 27 year old who went to iran for the first time since i was 2 years old. I was born here and don't remember anything about living there for those 2 years.

Definitly opened my eyes to a lot of mis conceptions and a lot of things that should change.

Great answer. He challenges your credibility on the issue and all you can say is 'well go to iran then.' That's very convincing, lol.

I like iran just fine. its a very misunderstood nation by the west kind of comparable to china in that sense. you on the other hand love to change topics and evade.

Unreal. I've been to Tehran, which is probably more than you can say. Pretty quick on the keyboard trigger, there, aren't you, Creepy? Ready to toss someone, anyone, other than yourself into the breech. Why aren't you over there now, buddying up to the theocratic "democracy," you are so avid in defending? blazer_ben may have a surplus of passion about the country, but at least everyone around here can understand why.

Why the "interest," from you, Creepy?

if i do recall, you said you were there during the shah's dictatorship while people were being tortured and executed left and right...i'm sure you didn't lift a finger to help them or object to what was going on

You realize you sound like conservatives who go around call out everyone who says anything to criticize the military or conservative policy.

Kind of funny considering you make it a point to criticize the Bush administration as much as anyone else hear but will go around pointing fingers at anyone who criticizes Iran on any issue.

His gameplan is call anything and everything propaganda. sad really. the man who wrote that story was in iran. in tehran to be more exact. i trust him more then creepyfloyd. iranian woman are treated like second class citizens. it's the truth. the world knows it. he can sit here and deny it all he likes, but the majority of our good members here know what is happening. i was in iran about 13 months ago. go ask a normal iranian what they think of the leader( khamenie) or the clerics in general. some of the answers you'll get are so vulgar, you would'nt want to repeat it to anyone. a mollah would'nt dare to show his face in public. thats how scared they are of the peoples reaction.
