Just bought a new computer and want to transfer my itunes library from the old one -- what's the easiest, quickest way?

Definitely not up for using the USB stick -- would take forever.

    thanks for the help

Use the backup feature in iTunes. Go to File->Back up to Disk (I assume you have a DVD burner). You can choose to back up all of your songs or just your purchased ones.

For more info, click on Help and then click on the search tab. Enter "transfer" as your search term.

    SharePod

Google it. It's a drag and drop program that installs directly to your iPod. Therefore you can drag and drop files to and from any computer, wherever you go. It's pretty great.

Best and fastest way is to use an Ethernet cable and create a home network then transfer all files to the new computer.

I second the ShareaPod motion. I used that puppy like no one's business. It copies EVERYTHING. :D

Is all your music iTunes downloaded music, or is most of it from your CDs or "shared" MP3s?
