I share a Roadrunner connection with my roommate.

His routing sucks though, and frequently disconnects me.

Same here, except I live in Texas. My school has some kind of tower on their property, so they get dibs on the internet connection. However, even though it is real fast, I don't get on the internet much at school because EVERY SINGLE SITE IS BLOCKED! Ok, maybe not every single one is, but just about. ESPN.com, NBA.com, some video game sites, and worst of all this site are all blocked. :(

I would like to say...in the summer...cable has a lot of problems. The connection is like always down. In the winter, it is great and very fast. I guess it has to do with weather or something. It would always just disconnect around the same time. And they said everything was OK. What a waste of money! It's really bad when it doesn't work. I am thinking about wireless networking. Then I don't have to share my computer. :)

Are there no Internet Cafes in Houston?

    Roadrunner is the best!

I think there have been internet cafes here in H-town, but I know of none that survived.

In Houston, everyone has their own car and everyone has their own computer! :D

I have a contract with Earthlink DSL until March, at which time I will quickly terminate it. Their service sucks, bad.

The only reason i cant get roadrunner now is because we gotta use our msn service up which ends this summer, at which time hopefully we get cable, my friend got road runner over the summer and he hasnt had a problem yet, btw whats faster than cable? fiber optic like drexlerfan said he had?
