The Chronicle has an interesting article dealing with Webber and Taylor. It seems certain that Webber would NEVER accept playing center. Also, Mo says he understands that the Rockets will go hard after Webber.

So, does anyone think there is any way Webber and Mo could play on the same team? I really like Mo, but Webber would push the Rockets over the top. Could Mo really play center, or even small forward? I know this has been mentioned before, but I thought it needed its own thread.

The article seemed to insinuate that Webber wouldn't be opposed to playing without a true center. I could see the Rockets trying to play Mo at the 5 some. But in my opinion, it's not fair to anyone to sign both Webber and Mo. Mo's a PF, and should be the starting PF on whatever team he's with.

I think having a good frontcourt mate will also influence whether Webber chooses to come here, although if I were a bettin' man, I'd wager that he re-signs with the Kings. Time will tell.

I'm not quite sure of the numbers but we will not have the money to re-sign Mo if we get Webber will we?
