A little off subject, but why the hardon for Lifetime TV? It makes you look narrow minded when you brand someone eles an idiot just because their opinions and desires are different from yours. What do you think the remote is for?

Very interesting read. Nothing like getting the scoop on the Rockets from your local........ um Nacogdoches paper.

I hadn't seen those quotes anywhere else. Yao needs to be mentally tougher to become an elite player. He seems too sensitive. Good thing we have Ewing

Just because I am not making fun of sometning, does not mean I support it. I was just curious as to why you felt the way you did.

BTW, I enjoyed the read. I especially appreciated, "We cracked in every way," Van Gundy said.

I keep reading posts blaming Wesley for the loss to the Mavs, and it just does not seem right to me. JVG hit the nail on hte head, it was a complete meltdown. Wasn't one person or one thing, we just cracked in every way. Rockets have the talent, the next step is to learn how to win.

i don't actually believe that Lifetime is for idiots. it's just that they seem to air quite a lot of programming that portrays males as villians. that quote was from "Family Guy" and it struck me as being funny as hell. it was supposed to be a bash towards Lifetime but looking at it now i guess it doesn't quite have that effect.

It could just be me. I don't watch the family guy and didn't recognize it as what it is.

I think it's a funny quote because I do watch Family Guy. Plus I saw a comedian crack on Lifetime once and it still makes me laugh. He said that Lifetime is 'television for women' but it seems every other movie is about a woman getting beaten.
