Houston Possible Starting 5: Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley, Glen Rice, Maurice Taylor, Kelvin Cato Offseason changes: Olajuwon and Shandon Anderson are gone, Glen Rices comes on board. In the draft, Houston traded away three average picks and ended up with Eddie Griffin. They also acquired a similar type of player in Terence Morris. Team Analysis Offense- Houston will surround Francis (19.9 ppg) and Mobley (19.5 ppg) with an outside shooter in Rice. Kenny Thomas must develop his offense and contribute inside. Long range threats off the bench include Walt Williams, Jason Collier and Dan Langhi. Defense- Cato has the ability to defend the post and Francis is active outside. Eddie Griffin should be able to help as well. Rebounding- The Rockets are going to struggle here, as point guard Francis (6.9 rpg) may be their best rebounder. Kenny Thomas will certainly rebound more than Maurice Taylor did, but a lot more help is needed. Playmaking- Francis (6.5 apg) creates a lot for his teammates. Houston are more effective in a transition game, not slow, grinding half-court sets. Franchise Question: Would Hakeem have helped Houston this year ? He won't carry them into the finals anymore, but Hakeem was still a better option than Cato or Collier.
It is incredible that something written today (according to the insidehoops web site) would show Taylor as a starter.
dont you know that top nba press...other than this site...use nasa monkeys to write their articles on about the rockets...
So if Houstone is Manny Ramirez, and Manny Ramirez is Bob Rainey that means . . . Houstone is Bob Rainey
THE TRANSITIVE PROPERTY!!! I didn't think I would ever see that here! Good ole if a=b and b=c, then a=c! Or if Eddie = George and George = Jones (the country singer) then it logically follows that Eddie = Jones! So, does that mean that Eddie George, George Jones, and Eddie Jones are all the same person? Ah forget it! See what you have caused Houstone! Or is that Bob? Or is that me?
Here's a list of fantasy point guards, They got Steve numer one, wow. Should there be any significant trades before the season starts we'll revise this. Analysis will be added, but we initially wanted to get the list out as soon as possible. Enjoy. Steve Francis Jason Kidd Stephon Marbury Gary Payton Jalen Rose Sam Cassell Nick Van Exel Baron Davis Steve Nash Andre Miller Mike Bibby Terrell Brandon Jason Terry Darrell Armstrong John Stockton Jeff McInnis Alvin Williams Antonio Daniels Damon Stoudamire Travis Best Eric Snow Jason Williams Kenny Anderson Chucky Atkins Rod Strickland* Anthony Carter Mookie Blaylock Tim Hardaway Mark Jackson Lindsey Hunter Chris Whitney Speedy Claxton *Rod doesn't have a team right now. If he somehow winds up as a starter somewhere, take him higher. If he's got no team, don't take him at all.
They put the Mariners on ESPN Classic. So you never know. Im going to say The Astros and Indians in the W.S.
Why don't you act Houstone and LilFrancis 3 that? I noticed that they had the same signatures and I decided to change mine to see if anybody would notice. So, thanks for noticing. BTW - I really think that Lil and Houstone are one and the same and he is only using me because: 1) To throw everybody off the trail of his secret 2) He is a dork
Sure you are, putz!! I like how you put "Mr Spur" in italics. You probably don't know how, do you? Although, I am mildly amused by your fascination with me--just remember you can only wish to be as great as me. Now quit watching "Single White Female" and come up with something better than imitating others.
