ok i have never had these symptoms before and i don't even really know how to explain them and i am not even sure if i should go to a doctor. i can only guess they might be related to my ears or balance somehow even though balance isn't a major issue. since monday when i woke up i have felt like the back of my head isn't staying still after i move it, like a vibrating/my brain is sloshing around/throbing sort of feeling. i guess it would be similar to the feeling you might have after you have been on a riding lawnmower or something like that for a long time. the symptoms go away after i have laid down for awhile, but return within about 10 minutes after i get up. i have had a minor headache and occasional very mild naseau with it too. i guess now that i think about it i have also notice a slight cold feeling and mild numbness in my tongue...so i should probably go see a doc rather than posting on clutchfans lol. i just haven't seen a doc since the symptoms are more an annoyance as opposed to something that is really effecting me. anyhow, i figured i would ask here to see if anyone had any clue what my problem might be or even related to before i see a doc.
I get all of that sometimes, except the tongue part. Mine is caused by low blood pressure and mild anaemia. Get it checked out, dude..
I'm not a doctor but any time I hear nausia, numbness, and dizziness... the first thing that comes to mind is low blood pressure. I'd get it checked out to be sure it's not anything serious.
I wouldn't just jump to see ENT or any other specialist right away. Start with your primary-care doc (internal medicine or family medicine). Your symptoms are quite non-specific which could be caused by many different problems. Bottomline is you need to have a check-up right away.
well I'm going to the doc right now. I just called a general practioner and they basically wanted me in asap. so I guess we'll see...
Sounds like low blood pressure. One of the major causes for low blood pressure is often dehydration. Go to the Doctor, but in the mean time, hydrate yourself to see if you feel better.
thats what it sounds like to me....ive had that for over two months now, but i think it is gone... there is an exercise that you can perform to get rid of vertigo, it works 85% of the time
I had something very similar a couple months ago and didn't think anything of it until I was driving on the freeway and it turned into a severe instance of vertigo, but my earlier symptoms were very similar to yours. There are a lot of things the ENT will check and mine turned out to not be a big deal as they were able to do some procedure on the spot that fixed it, but it is possible that other more serious things could cause it. The ENT would be my best guess on where you should go though.
well it looks like it's just an ear infection. never had one without pain or difficulty hearing, but she said my right ear is clogged up. I am getting a CT scan done because she didn't feel comfortable about the tongue numbness symptom.
