Please post something positive in this thread. The negative crap is wearing thin. The Rockets will rise again. Our greatest glory consists not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. -Confucious
I almost posted this as a Quote of the Year: It is so funny whenever we get a taste of Bull Durham quote candy. btw: I dare someone to say one positive thing about last night's game. Don't sprain your brain, though.
All I can think of(or hope) is that Steve is watching on the sideline and an intense anger is building in him. Hopefully these 6 weeks will show him his importance on this team and how almost everything thing that we will accomplish rides on his ability and hard work. We will go as far as he can take us...until we get a dominate low post player, which doesn't look like its happening within the next 2-3 years. Steve is our savior and the glue of this very messy collage. In him we trust...NOW HURRY UP AND HEAL DAMN IT!!!!!!

I love the fact that EG seems to be getting his timing down on his blocks. It seems like the last 3-4 games where he has gotten significant minutes, he has been racking up some impressive block numbers (2-3 a game). Also, Tierre Brown is quite impressive. He is a nice spark to have coming off the bench, compared to Moochie. Moochie may have games where he does well and sets players up, but he ALWAYS does it at a crawling pace, so it is nice to have the up tempo PG on the bench who can push the ball up quickly, and set things up. Morris also looked more confident last night than I remember ever seeing him in a Rockets jersey. If he could get his confidence, then he could be a shot blocking, rebounding SF off the bench (of which we have none). Go Rockets!
oops...sorry! Can I go up and add an asterix? "dare" wasn't the right word. I meant that I would like to see it...as in a "please do it" dare. OK, I owe you one:
Jason Collier didn't play. Rudy didn't get a DWI. The game wasn't televised nationally. We can still sweep the Central Division next year. The Rockets didn't offer Tierre Brown a 25 million dollar contract after the game, even though he made a few shots.
You get good at this stuff when you're a Bulls fan... The young guys made a good showing---and helped management see that you'll have a good bench/starters in the future. Norris shot the ball very well---almost 55% Bench out-rebounded the Bulls bench and nearly kept pace in scoring. And hey---you held Oakley to 30% shooting and didn't let him beat you.
Watching people try to find something positive to say about the Rockets after the past week of basketball makes me even more depressed.

Finn*- this is a real challenge but from one old time Celtics fan to another here goes: 1) Griffin, Brown, Morris & Langhi made 9 shots and had 8 assists. Ball movement? 2) Tierre Brown will push the ball instead of walking it up the court. 3) No injuries 4) The Bulls come to Houston after Francis is back (Mar. 16th) and you know what the say about paybacks.....
Great post Gater. It's when a team struggles that you find its true fans. Anyone can cheer on a winner. Just ask anyone who was a Rockets or Celtics fan in the 70's.
Cato and Griffin played well in limited minutes last night. The Rockets can still kick anyone's ass, anytime. ZRB hasn't posted in here yet. Moochie Norris is one good looking guy.
