Oh my. I had one of these due Wednesday but took a zero because I couldn't think of a topic. Speech sucks.

 

Awesome. I would have done mine on Baseball Stars, but still cool.

 

My most enjoyed speech in college was doing a comparison/contrast on Spring Break in Padre vs. Spring Break in Cancun. I ended up going a little over, but I got an A on the speech. (Man, that was a while ago.)

My advice? Do it on something you care about and are interested in. Speech can be a really fun class, you know?

 

Hmm...my college speech teacher gave us a lecture on picking insignificant topics.

I did one of my speeches on the health benefits of laughter. I even started off the speech with a cheesy joke, then said, "If you would have laughed at that joke, you might have added a few minutes to your life"...

I don't really care if a university crowd wants to hear it or not....EVERYONE needs to know about the GOODNESS of the HOUSTON ROCKETS! I could go on for hours much less 6 minutes about them. If you live in Houston, then you should talk about the Rockets; most the fans in this city are lazy and fairweather and they need to hear about the best team in the world, the Rockets.
