I warned those that thought his job was somehow in jeopardy. The discussions between Udoka and the Rockets have been loud and have been rumored since before the playoffs. There were multiple people that told me it was going to happen - even people around the Bulls knew it was going to happen. If Ime Udoka goes anywhere, it will be because he doesn't want to coach basketball anymore.

Just some clarification on Ime's extension.. It does appear to be for six more years, but something Ime said was very interesting. At a media day to open training camp this season Ime said, "So, to be extended and be together for the next six years or whatever... we take it year by year, but it’s an honor for me."
