Less than a month after getting laid off and before my first unemployement check has come in I accepted a job offer and I start on Wednesday. A little more than I was making before and a very solid company with plenty of room for growth. I'm very very excited. Thanks to everyone for your interview advice and kind words when I got laid off. With my first paycheck I'm going to become a contributing member.
Thanks everyone. I'm so excited. I hated being unemployed. First time I was out of work since I started sacking groceries at Brookshire Brothers in Katy at 15. I'm now 34.

Yeah this was the job I really wanted. I got a call tonight and got offered the other job also but I told them I just accepted another offer. I'm a graphic artist with about 15 years experience. A jack of all trades and mac guru. The position I took is doing litigation graphics and I'm real excited about it. It may also include some travel and presenting in court. I'm so excited and looking forward to a new challenge.
