It's been 6 years, but my jaded ass is absolutely in love. In love to where I know at any minute, it could come crashing to an end, or be one of the best things that happened in my life. In love to where I constantly view texts that were sent to me, knowing that they are deleted in a month, and trying to scrutinize them so that I know better what I do wrong versus right. In love to where I care more about her happiness than mine, even if it is to mine own detriment. In love to where she makes me strive to become a better person. Needless to say, I'm in trouble...
Bah! We shall see, but she's done a # on me. BTW, I'll be putting together some nice notes for Tech vs. Kansas. Any thoughts help. I know you're not from either alum, but are you UH?
Baylor. Bet the house on us. Grew up a UT fan in a UT family...shocked the family when I went to BU. So I'm sort of a BU/UT fan.
Really? What years? You know one of my best friends (he goes by T Rex here) was a pitcher at Baylor. He was there 89-93.
92-96 that means he would have played alongside some friends of mine who were seniors on the team when I was a freshman. stratford h.s. guys.
My lawyer was a Baylor baseball player, and held the HR record for years. Leonard Woods, we hoop it up at the local Y. DD
Hmm. You've met the guy before, but check for pitchers at Baylor with the last name that starts with "Rex". Either way, his is a fascinating story. He went on to be a sportsbroadcaster in Colorado and Conneticut before coming back to Houston. As he says (cough MattJ, cough) there isn't crap to be made in the business. Some young kid with a personality is always willing to take your job for less. So T Rex got into Finance, and now he has his own firm (rat-b*stard)

Yep. He came by a few functions. Both at Live and BeeWees. I know RM95 remembers him. He was the tall, thin person you met with me at B dub's in Midtown. I introduced you to him, at the time. Either way, he's die-hard Astros, so you'll see him waxing poetic there more than here, or anywhere else. Either way, he's a great guy to pick brain, if you like baseball. I still love hearing him talking about being the "sound of reason" when he was working in Colorado and Connecticut. All the listeners would applaud him for being so well balanced when they won or lost. Then the Astros lose the World Series in a sweep, combined with the year before with the Cards. Dude is besides himself. He hates life, wants to sulk everyday, etc. It was awesome! Even to the fact that we saw his ass dancing a jig in the middle of the street one night to an Astro's victory. Sad he doesn't post here more often. He really is an interesting guy.
Senior love is so adorable. <3 <3 BTW there's been a increase in STD cases among seniors over the last few years.
